Six our teachers led by Professor Zhang Xinping visited University of Copenhagen and University of Murcia from Aug. 10^th to 20^th, 2017.

       At Saxo Institute University of Copenhagen, Professor Zhang Xinping made an introduction to Lanzhou University and its School of Marxism. Professor Wang Weiping delivered the lecture “An political-economics analysis on the Chinese model of government-enterprise relationship”. Professor Zhang Xinping and Professor Wang Xuejian briefed on the development of Marxism in contemporary China. Then, the Chinese and Denmark scholars exchanged ideas on Marxist theory and China’s development pattern.

        The Chinese team also visited Fudan-European Center for China Studies, where they heard an introduction to the institution made by its director Dr. Liu Chunrong.

        At University of Murcia, the Chinese and Spanish scholars exchanged thoughts on academic exchange between the two universities. Professor Zhang Xinping, Professor Wang Weiping and Professor Wangxuejian respectively gave three reports entitled “Political system of contemporary China”, “A political-economics analysis of Chinese marketization reform”, and “New type of urbanization with Chinese characteristics: now and the future”. They also gave insightful answers to the questions raised by the Denmark teachers and students, and thus increased their knowledge about the achievements of contemporary China.

       The visit laid a good foundation for academic cooperation between the two sides. The Saxo Institute, Fudan-European Center for China Studies, Faculty of Philosophy University of Murcia and other institutions expressed their will to cooperate with us in academic programs. Scholars of both sides presented their publications to each other. We presented to the two universities’ libraries ten monographs on the latest research results of Sinicization of Marxism, one of our latest research results on Marxism.

Uttering the Chinese voice through international academic communication is an important measure of constructing our school. During the visit to the European counterparts, our scholars learned about their research methodology and experience as well as introduced to them the Chinese road, Chinese standpoint and China’s achievements. It was a successful attempt to walk to the world, to carry out dialogue with foreign peer researchers.
